For reasons beyond our control, “Odd Con”, usually synonymous with “the Cave Degree” (you can see it right there in our website URL), will not, this year, be in a cave at all. But that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy the wholesome and uplifting experience of conferring the degrees in full, sharing meals together, attending a dance and holding the educational breakout sessions that made Odd Con such an amazing experience in 2025. The Pythian Cave may not be available, but the Odd Fellows of San Pablo #43, in beautiful and historic Vallejo, have come to our aid, and agreed to host us in their grand and glorious lodge hall.
We will not be conferring the initiatory degree this year. All candidates will need to be initiated before they arrive. The cost this year is $65 per attendee. The registration includes the three degrees, breakout sessions, dinner and the Odd Ball dance Saturday evening. All degrees will be conferred indoors.
The event now takes place all on one day, Saturday September 26th. The schedule is as follows:
- 12PM: doors open, members begin gathering
- 1PM: First Degree
- 2PM: First Breakout Session
- 3PM: Second Degree
- 4PM: Second Breakout Session
- 5PM: Third Degree
- 6PM: Dinner
- 7PM: Odd Ball Dance
- 10PM: Event ends, cleanup
